Weekly or Bi-Weekly
Order by the dozen. All of the eggs are gathered from non-debeaked chickens who are fully pastured, grass foragers, and fed only certified organic, antibiotic-free, non-GMO, and hormone-free supplemental feed. These eggs are distinctly different than conventional grocery store eggs. You'll notice a richer texture and a vibrant, stronger yolk.
During the spring, shares will start off with strawberries, rhubarb, cherries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. As summer ensues, seedless watermelons, canary melons, French heirloom cantaloupes, and many other heirloom melon varieties are harvested. With autumn on the horizon, the shares will turn to grapes, kiwi berries, pears and apples all sourced from our member farms and local and regional partners. All fruit is either Certified Organic or raised using the environmentally sensitive IPM (Integrated Pest Management) standard.
Adding an herb share to your selections this season is a great way to increase your familiarity with our locally-available herbs. Be it cilantro, oregano, parsley, basil or thyme, you're sure to find this share worth every dime! Nothing compares to seasoning and cooking with fresh herbs. You'll have the chance to get to know these kitchen favorites as well as expanding your herbal repertoire to include some exciting, lesser-known varieties such as fennel and lemon verbena, too!
FLOUR & GRAIN SHARE
Our new bi-weekly Flour and Grain share will help bulk up your pantry during this transition into colder weather. You will receive (1) 2 lb bag of Daisy organic flour and (1) 2 lb bag of Castle Valley grain every other week to help nourish your body and soul.
